Find The Stude
The Stude is located on the second floor of The Rainbow House, a historic home and co-op in Savannah’s Starland District. You’ll find us at the corner of E 40th Street and Drayton Street. Please note that Drayton Street is a one-way street running northbound.
Studio Hours & Classes
The Stude does not currently offer drop-in studio hours to visitors who are not enrolled in an 8-week class. If you’d like to visit the studio and take a look at the space and facilities, please email Hayley at thestudesav@gmail.com to arrange a visit.
The regular 8-week classes are:
Introduction to Wheel Throwing: Tuesdays, 6:00–8:30 PM
Handbuilding Basics: Thursdays, 6:00–8:30 PM
We also offer one-time Try Clay events, held on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, alternating each week.
Parking
Free street parking is available on E 40th Street and the surrounding neighborhood streets. Parking is public and is not reserved for The Stude.
Access to the Studio
The Stude is located on the second floor of a historic home. There are several steps leading to the building’s front entrance, followed by one flight of stairs up to the studio.
At this time, stair access is required to enter The Stude. I want everyone to have the information they need to plan their visit comfortably, so if you have questions about access or would like to discuss your individual needs before visiting or registering for a class, please reach out to me at thestudesav@gmail.com.
